HARRISBURG — Republican Party of Pennsylvania Communications Director Megan Sweeney released the following statement regarding Tom Wolf’s visit to Erie today.
“When it comes to manufacturing jobs, Tom Wolf’s actions don’t match his rhetoric,” Sweeney said. “As the head of a Delaware-based corporation, Tom Wolf outsourced manufacturing jobs to other states, a fact he never seems to mention in his expensive television ads.
“Why did Tom Wolf choose to outsource jobs to other states? When will Secretary Wolf finally talk about his reasons for sending jobs to states such as Texas, Alabama, Indiana, Florida and New Jersey?
“Voters deserve to know why Tom Wolf repeatedly shipped jobs out of Pennsylvania, but he refuses to give them any answers. What is Tom Wolf hiding?”
In 2011, Tom Wolf bragged about the Wolf Organization’s presence in other states, stating, “For example, our Wolf Classic Cabinets are made in Indiana by American workers using American components.
