VIDEO: Wolf Supporter Dinniman To Voters: If You Want Solutions, Go Ask Somebody Else

HARRISBURG — Republican Party of Pennsylvania Chairman Rob Gleason released the following statement regarding state Senator Andy Dinniman’s outburst at protesters yesterday in West Chester.

“When it comes to the toughest issues facing Pennsylvania, Democrats like state Senator Andy Dinniman are admitting they are taking a pass just like their standard bearer, Tom Wolf,” Gleason said. “Pennsylvania is facing a $47 billion pension crisis that’s crippling our school districts and raising our property taxes. When Andy Dinniman was asked by his constituents to address pension reform, he told them to go look somewhere else.

“The Wolf-led Democrats ignoring these important problems show they are not ready to lead. The emerging issue is Pennsylvanians don’t know which Tom Wolf they will get – the Wolf who says he won’t kick the can down the road or the Wolf who says there is no crisis to fix for Pennsylvania’s $47 billion pension gap?

“So instead of addressing the debate, they would rather shout down Pennsylvanians supporting reform.”

At a press conference yesterday, state Senator Andy Dinniman aggressively approached protesters screaming about how Republicans should be responsible for solutions to pension reform. You can view the video here.

During a campaign stop yesterday, Tom Wolf promised to not “kick down the road” on pensions, although he refused to offer a plan (Bill O’Boyle,”Democratic candidate for governor says manufacturing key to Pa.’s future,” Wilkes-Barre Times Leader, 7/24/14)
