Congressman Vows To Visit 100 Businesses In 100 Days

Bucks County Courier Times

Congressman Mike Fitzpatrick, R-8, has vowed to visit 100 businesses in 100 days because he believes “the next three months may be one of the most critical stretches of time to get our economy moving again.”

Fitzpatrick said the coming months are important for many reasons, including the Supreme Court’s expected June determination about the constitutionality of President Obama’s Affordable Care Act, and the U.S. Senate’s budget struggles.

“All of these factors create an unpredictable lending and consumer spending environment which only makes it more difficult for businesses to grow and hire new workers,” the congressman said. “I look forward to meeting with business owners and their employees to learn more about how they have risen to the challenge to sustain jobs, what I can do to get government out of their way, and how we can work together to address the pending summer of uncertainty.”
