Wednesday, President Donald Trump announced former PA GOP Executive Director Robert Bozzuto III is to be nominated as Assistant Secretary for Public Affairs within the U.S. Department of Labor.
Bozzuto, currently the White House Liaison at the Department of Labor, served as Executive Director of the Republican Party of Pennsylvania from 2013-2017. Before that he worked for former United States Senator Rick Santorum (R-PA) in Washington, D.C., on his legislative staff and 2006 campaign.
Bozzuto is a native of Hempfield and is a graduate of the University of Pittsburgh.
In response, Republican Party of Pennsylvania Chairman Val DiGiorgio, made the following statement:
“I want to congratulate Bob on his nomination to this important role within the President’s administration. I look forward to seeing Bob’s future career unfold as he continues make the make Pennsylvania and the PA GOP proud.”
