Tuesday marked the 17th anniversary of the 9/11 terrorist attacks occurring in New York, Washington D.C., and Pennsylvania.
On the anniversary, Republican Party of Pennsylvania Chairman Val DiGiorgio, made the following statement:
“On this day of solemn remembrance, we keep in mind those who died from these senseless attacks, the heroes that sacrificed their lives to keep countless others safe, and the men and women of our Armed Forces and first responders who keep up safe today.
“As we continue to move forward from the horrific events of September 11, 2001, we must remain mindful of the lessons learned, but also ever more committed to the hope embodied in the American dream.”
