HARRISBURG — Republican Party of Pennsylvania Chairman Rob Gleason released the following statement on the passing of former state Senator Mike Waugh.
“Senator Mike Waugh was a great legislator and a wonderful man,” Gleason said. “Mike spent over two decades serving his constituents first in the state House and later in the state Senate, and his commitment to his constituents was unparalleled. He was a passionate advocate for our farming communities, both in York County and throughout our Commonwealth.
“The Republican Party of Pennsylvania extends its deepest sympathies to his family and friends at this difficult time.”
