HARRISBURG — Republican Party of Pennsylvania Chairman Rob Gleason released the following statement in commemoration of Labor Day.
“Labor Day is a time to celebrate the determination and drive of the American people,” Gleason said. “Pennsylvanians are known for their strong work ethic and passion for improving our society, and I take great pride in having to chance to honor such fine men and women from across the Commonwealth.
“Over the past three and a half years, Governor Corbett’s commonsense fiscal policies have grown our workforce and our economy. Because of Tom Corbett and Republicans in the legislature, more Pennsylvanians serve in our workforce than at any point in our Commonwealth’s history. Pennsylvanians are going back to work, which is a cause of celebration throughout the year.
“On behalf of the Republican Party of Pennsylvania, I would like to wish everyone a safe and Happy Labor Day.”
