HARRISBURG — Republican Party of Pennsylvania Chairman Rob Gleason released the following statement in honor of Cinco de Mayo.
“Today we recognize a pivotal moment in the culture of the Mexican-American community,” Gleason said. “Cinco de Mayo marks the historic victory of the Mexican people in the Battle of Puebla, and the numerous celebrations surrounding its commemoration serve as a reminder of the numerous contributions of the Mexican-American community in Pennsylvania. As Chairman of the Republican Party of Pennsylvania, I would like to wish everyone a great Cinco de Mayo.”
