Republican Gov. Tom Corbett and First Lady Susan Corbett selected Delaware County as the place to unveil a new women’s coalition designed to spread his campaign message at the grassroots level.
“Why not?” Tom Corbett said Thursday following the announcement at D’Ignazio’s Towne House Bar and Restaurant. “It’s a great organization here. It’s kind of centrally located. Sometimes the city is a little hard to get into. Andy Reilly is a great (Republican) chairman here. … I’m very pleased to be here.”
Corbett has made six public visits to Delaware County since November, including four since the beginning of March.
