Corbett-Cawley Team Submits More Than 50,000 Signatures Of Support

HARRISBURG — Republican Party of Pennsylvania Chairman Rob Gleason released the following statement regarding the Corbett-Cawley team’s petition filings.

“Because of the hard work and dedication of our grassroots volunteers, the Corbett-Cawley ticket has filed more than 50,000 signatures of support from all 67 counties in order to get on the ballot,” Gleason said. “We have the best grassroots network in the country, and they are ready to get to work to send the Corbett-Cawley team back to Harrisburg for four more years.

“Over the course of the past four years, Pennsylvanians have watched as Governor Corbett eliminated a $4 billion budget deficit, lowered our unemployment rate to a six-year low, and put more state funds into our schools without raising taxes. Governor Corbett is putting Pennsylvanians back to work, and we cannot afford a return to the days of out-of-control spending and high taxes that the Democrats are proposing.

“I want to thank our volunteers for their efforts, and look forward to joining them as we work to re-elect Tom Corbett and Jim Cawley in the months ahead.”
