HARRISBURG — Republican Party of Pennsylvania Chairman Rob Gleason released the following statement in honor of Black History Month.
“Today, we begin a national celebration of the African-American community and their incredible contributions that have benefited the Commonwealth and the country,” Gleason said. “From our founding by abolitionists fighting for freedom, the Republican Party continues as the party of Lincoln focused on opportunity for all. I wish Pennsylvania’s African-American community a wonderful Black History Month.”
