HARRISBURG — Republican Party of Pennsylvania Chairman Rob Gleason released the following statement regarding Congressman Jim Gerlach’s decision to not seek reelection in the 2014 election cycle.
“Pennsylvania is a better place because of Congressman Jim Gerlach’s service. Throughout his time in Congress, Jim Gerlach has worked tirelessly to improve the lives of his constituents and ensure their voices were heard in Washington. We will now start the work to elect a Republican to Congress who will succeed Jim and bring the same dedication that has served the people of the 6th District so well.
