PA GOP Hires New Executive Director

HARRISBURG — Republican Party of Pennsylvania Chairman Rob Gleason announced today the selection of Bob Bozzuto as the Executive Director of the Republican Party. Former Executive Director Mike Barley recently moved over to the Corbett-Cawley Campaign as Campaign Manager.

“I am very pleased to announce that Bob Bozzuto is our new Executive Director,” Chairman Gleason said. “Bob has been a key member of my team since 2007 and strategically led our political and campaign efforts that helped to elect Governor Corbett, Lt. Governor Cawley, U.S. Senator Toomey, 13 Congressmen, majorities in the State Senate, State House, State Appellate Courts and 51 County Courthouses. With critical races in 2013-2014, we have a team that will deliver important wins, again.”

Bozzuto remarked, “It is a great honor to take this responsibility as the Executive Director. We have a great team led by Chairman Gleason, National Committee members Bob Asher and Christine Toretti, Vice Chair Joyce Haas and State Party members across the Commonwealth. I am excited to do my part to take our party operations to the next level to elect Republicans up and down the ticket.”

Gleason concluded, “I want to thank and congratulate Mike Barley for his service to the party and give my whole-hearted support for him in his new position. Governor Corbett and Lt. Governor Cawley have selected a first-rate campaign manager to help spread their winning message.”

Bob Bozzuto is originally from Hempfield Township, Westmoreland County and currently resides in Cumberland County with his wife Alicia and son Blase.
