U.S. Rep. Patrick Meehan, R-7, of Upper Darby is holding a field hearing before the Homeland Security Subcommittee on Counterrorism and Intelligence at the Mirenda Center for Sport, Spirituality and Character Development to pivot Neumann University today at 10 a.m.
The hearing is titled “The Implications of Refinery Closures for U.S. Homeland Security and Critical Infrastructure Safety” and will examine the security reprecussions of the closure of ConocoPhillips Trainer and Sunoco Inc. Marcus Hook refineries and the potential shutdown of Sunoco’s Philadelphia facility.
