Harrisburg, PA – PAGOP Chairman, Lawrence Tabas, today announced the appointment of Jeff Bartos, of Montgomery County, as Chairman of the State Party’s Finance Committee.
“Jeff has been a very successful fundraiser for conservative candidates and causes across Pennsylvania and throughout the nation” said Tabas.”He will play a key role in strengthening the party and our efforts.”
A native of Berks County and the 2018 Republican nominee for Lieutenant Governor, Bartos also has served as a Montgomery County Republican Committeeman for more than fifteen years. His appointment follows the resignation of former Chairman of Finance, Jim Shultz.
“Jim has served the party with distinction,” said Tabas. “We thank him for his service and wish him great success in his future endeavors.”

Bartos graduated from Emory University and earned his law degree from the University of Virginia. He is a real estate developer in the Greater Philadelphia area. Jeff, his wife Sheryl and their two daughters reside in Montgomery County.
