PA GOP Chairman’s Update – June 9, 2019

Dear supporters, friends, and those interested in the Republican Party of Pennsylvania:

With everything that happened for the Republican Party of Pennsylvania, I can say that it doesn’t get much more exciting to be a Republican.

The highlight of the week was the motivating and inspired speech by Vice President Mike Pence, who was the special guest at our 2019 State Dinner.

The 2019 State Dinner was the most successful fundraiser the Republican Party of Pennsylvania has ever had and the enthusiasm of Pennsylvania Republicans to re-elect President Donald Trump and Vice President Pence was clearly evident at Thursday’s dinner.

I completely agree with the Vice President: President Trump has delivered for Pennsylvania, delivered for the country, and has fulfilled the promises of 2016 campaign.

There is no greater example of this than the great success President Trump had this week on the world stage where he had an incredible trip to Great Britain, Ireland, and France to celebrate D-Day and engage with world leaders on pressing issues.

Then, the President delivered a huge win for national security when Mexico agreed to secure their southern border and help with the flood of illegal immigration that has been plaguing our southern border.

We know the road to 2020 runs through Pennsylvania and the PA GOP remains firmly committed to keeping Pennsylvania red for President Trump and Vice President Pence.

The Trump-Pence team is truly keeping America first.

In furtherance of that effort, I was happy to lead our committee members in a Trump Victory Leadership Initiative training on Friday.

There, our members energized by the the Vice President’s remarks the night before, were trained in voter registration, grassroots organizing, and the ins-and-outs of what it means to be on the front lines for the re-election of President Trump and electing Republicans in 2019 and 2020.

We plan to work hand-in-hand with the President’s re-election team to hold many more trainings in the run-up to 2020.

Also on Friday, as part of our membership retreat, we were honored to hear from our newest Congressman—Rep. Fred Keller—and another strong Pennsylvania conservative voice in U.S. House, Congressman Scott Perry.

Saturday, I was honored to attend a great Republican event led by the Dean of our Republican Congressional Delegation—Congressman GT Thompson—at Raystown Lake.

It is always great to get around our great commonwealth, hear from our grassroots leaders, and talk about the work of the Republican Party of Pennsylvania in getting Republicans elected across Pennsylvania.
