Friday, Lou Barletta and Bob Casey held their second and final debate at KDKA in Pittsburgh.
In response, Republican Party of Pennsylvania Communications Director Jason Gottesman, made the following statement:
“Whether it’s his failure to support economy-boosting taxes, his votes in support of sanctuary cities, or his rampant obstruction, Bob Casey has failed to work on behalf of Pennsylvanians and, instead, continues to be beholden to the far left of his Party.
“Bob Casey no longer represents the moderate values of Pennsylvanians. He has been rated one of the least effective Senators twice while also changing from pro-life to pro-choice and from pro-Second Amendment to what the Washington Post called being ‘an evangelist for gun control.’
“Throughout his time in Congress, Lou Barletta has stood up for Pennsylvanians by supporting tax cuts, working to protect our nation’s borders, and supporting continuing health insurance coverage of those with pre-existing conditions.
“Lou Barletta will ensure Republican-led successes continue and are not rolled back by Democrats who have pledged nothing but obstruction, open borders, and higher taxes should they retake the majority.”
