Longtime Senate lawyer and advisor to Harrisburg leaders, Steve MacNett, passed away Tuesday.
In response, Republican Party of Pennsylvania Chairman Val DiGiorgio, made the following statement:
“I personally knew Steve MacNett when I was a lawyer in the Pennsylvania Senate and I can attest to how his warm personality, strong work ethic, and dedication to the law has profoundly affected my own life, and the lives of those who encountered him.
“Steve was a top notch lawyer and dedicated public servant who has made a mark on Pennsylvania law that will be felt for generations.
“For those that knew him, the news of his passing is incredibly sad. My thoughts and prayers go out to his family, friends, and loved ones. He will be missed.”
