HARRISBURG – Retiring 16th District Congressman Joe Pitts will be honored by the Republican Party of Pennsylvania at the 2016 Congressional Delegation Dinner on Friday, May 20th at the Lancaster County Convention Center.
The Dinner will also include a question-and-answer session with 4th District Congressman Scott Perry, 5th District Congressman Glenn “G.T.” Thompson, 10th District Congressman Tom Marino, and 12th District Congressman Keith Rothfus for dinner attendees.
“Congressman Joe Pitts is an unquestioned champion of conservatism in the Keystone State,” PA GOP Chairman Rob Gleason said. “As Dean of the Pennsylvania Delegation, Joe Pitts has led the efforts to speak out against the failed Obama-Clinton liberal agenda, including his efforts to highlight the dangerous effects of Obamacare. From his time as a teacher to his service in the Air Force and elected office, Joe Pitts has spent a lifetime working to improve our communities, our Commonwealth and our country. The Republican Party of Pennsylvania is excited to have the opportunity to honor such an icon of Republican politics as Joe Pitts.”
