HARRISBURG — After watching Katie McGinty’s campaign struggle to gain traction for weeks against extreme liberal Joe Sestak, the Democratic Senate Campaign Committee has officially endorsed the failed governor candidate in the Pennsylvania primary.
“With Joe Sestak leading, the Democratic machine hit the panic button today on Katie’s McGinty’s stagnant campaign,” PA GOP Communications Director Megan Sweeney said. “They know Joe Sestak is a retread, who has a history of ethics problems and extreme left-wing views that do not resonate with most Pennsylvanians.”
Former PA Democratic Party Chairman T.J. Rooney: “In My Estimation, If Joe Sestak Is The Nominee In 2016 For U.S. Senate, We Will Once Again Lose To Pat Toomey.” “‘In my estimation, if Joe Sestak is the nominee in 2016 for U.S. Senate, we will once again lose to Pat Toomey,’ said T.J. Rooney, who was state Democratic Party chairman when Sestak ran in 2010.” (Alex Roarty, “Meet The Democratic Senate Candidate Who Drives Democrats Crazy,” National Journal, 2/19/2015)
