HARRISBURG — Republican Party of Pennsylvania Communications Director Megan Sweeney released the following statement regarding the Pennsylvania Democratic Party’s refusal to offer its support to any candidate in their U.S. Senate primary.
“Democrats recognized today that both Joe Sestak and Katie McGinty are deeply flawed candidates,” Sweeney said. “In comparison, the Republican Party of Pennsylvania is unified in their steadfast support of Senator Pat Toomey.”
