Toomey Leads Republican Statewide Ticket With 20,000 Signatures Of Support

PA GOP Statewide Ticket Files 57,400 Overall Petition Signatures

HARRISBURG — Republican Party of Pennsylvania Chairman Rob Gleason congratulated United States Senator Pat Toomey, Attorney General candidate and State Senator John Rafferty, Auditor General candidate and Northampton County Executive John Brown, and Treasurer candidate Otto Voit on collecting 57,400 overall signatures of support during Pennsylvania’s nomination petition process, which ended today.

“Republicans in all 67 counties are showing their enthusiastic support for U.S. Senator Pat Toomey and our entire statewide ticket,” Gleason said. “Over the past month, our volunteers have braved winter conditions and record-setting low temperatures to ensure our Republican candidates took their rightful place on the ballot. Led by U.S. Senator Pat Toomey, our Republican statewide team has the grassroots network and enthusiasm needed to win their upcoming elections.

“Republicans in the Keystone State are ready to nominate the next President of the United States at the Republican National Convention in July. I’m proud to see so many Republicans have filed to run as a delegate or alternate delegate for our National Convention in July.

“With the level of enthusiasm shown by our grassroots network this winter, the Republican Party of Pennsylvania is ready to turn the Keystone State red this November!”
