HARRISBURG — Embattled Democratic National Committee Chairwoman Debbie Wasserman Schultz is visiting Pennsylvania today to add another out of touch, liberal voice to the Supreme Court and 37th State Senate races.
“President Obama’s approval ratings are upside down, the vast majority of Pennsylvanians think Hillary Clinton isn’t trustworthy and Democrats are hosting the most unpopular Democrat in the country to support their campaigns,” Republican Party of Pennsylvania Communications Director Megan Sweeney said. “Debbie Wasserman Schultz is leaving a legacy of disaster at the Democratic National Committee, so it’s surprising to see Pennsylvania candidates flocking to get this D.C. Democrat’s stamp of approval. Her push for liberal, activist judges who put special interests before our citizens will not resonate with Pennsylvania voters.”
Regarding Debbie Wasserman Schultz’s support of Democratic State Senate candidate Heather Arnet, Sweeney added, “It only makes sense extreme liberal Debbie Wasserman Schultz would come to Pittsburgh to offer support to her fellow Floridian, extreme liberal Heather Arnet. Doubtless President Obama’s rubber stamp has much to teach liberal Heather Arnet who will be the same thing for liberal Gov. Tom Wolf’s massive tax increases on hardworking Southwestern Pennsylvania families.
“While she is here, we hope that Chairwoman Wasserman Schultz and her Democrat endorsees will not hesitate to talk about the liberal platform like shutting down the coal and natural gas industries that would put thousands of Pennsylvanians out of work.”
