HARRISBURG — In observance of Yom Kippur, which begins at sundown today, Republican Party of Pennsylvania Chairman Rob Gleason released the following statement.
“Yom Kippur is a time of contemplation and atonement for members of our Jewish communities. This period of fasting and consideration can provide an opportunity for all Pennsylvanians to reflect on our relationships with each other, and reaffirm our commitment to serving the needs of others.
“At this holy time for our Jewish communities, I would like to wish everyone who observes Yom Kippur an easy fast and a hopeful future.”
