HARRISBURG — Republican Party of Pennsylvania Chairman Rob Gleason released the following statement commemorating the tragedies that occurred on September 11th, 2001.
“Today, we remember the innocent lives that were lost during the horrific events of September 11, 2001,” PA GOP Chairman Rob Gleason said. “While years have passed, our nation is still recovering from the tragic loss of life that took place in New York, Washington D.C., and Shanksville, Pennsylvania. On this day, and every day, our thoughts and prayers remain with everyone whose lives and families we affected by the horrible events of that day 14 years ago.
“On behalf of the Republican Party of Pennsylvania, I also want to extend my thanks to the brave men and women who serve in our Armed Forces and who protect our freedoms both at home and abroad. The sacrifices of these men and women, and that of their families, ensure our nation will remain the land of the free and the home of the brave.”
