Flanked by six fellow House members, State Rep. Fred Keller on Wednesday said Gov. Tom Wolf’s flat-out veto of Republicans’ proposed spending plan shows the Democrat will throw Pennsylvania into financial chaos as the state budget faceoff nears its seventh week.
Seven regional lawmakers attended the Upper Susquehanna Valley arm of the “General Assembly of Pennsylvania Truth Tour,” held at a Lewisburg manufacturer of truck and farm equipment to illustrate the risk of a severance tax on small companies.
“One question he needs to answer,” said Keller, R-85, of Kreamer. “Businessman Wolf, when you ran your business, how many times from one year to the next did you have a 12 percent to 15 percent increase and expect to have customers?”
