PHILADELPHIA — Former New York Governor George Pataki is confirmed to open the 2015 Northeast Republican Leadership Conference on Thursday, Republican Party of Pennsylvania Chairman Rob Gleason announced today.
“Governor George Pataki has a proven track record of putting Republican principles into action in government,” Gleason said. “As Governor of New York, George Pataki showed a strong commitment to putting the needs of the taxpayers ahead of the wishes of bloated government. At a time when our national debt is skyrocketing due to the failed economic policies of President Barack Obama, I look forward to hearing George Pataki’s vision for the future of our country.”
“I look forward to meeting with my fellow Republicans this week in Philadelphia,” Pataki said. “After years of watching the Obama Administration raise taxes and hurt America’s standing in the world, it’s time for us to come together and discuss ways in which we can create a better future for our next generation.”
In addition to former New York Governor George Pataki, the following speakers are confirmed for the Northeast Republican Leadership Conference:
- New Jersey Governor Chris Christie
