HARRISBURG — Republican Party of Pennsylvania Chairman Rob Gleason released the following statement regarding Hillary Clinton’s latest campaign announcement.
“Today, Hillary Clinton kicked off her campaign to continue the failed policies of Barack Obama,” Gleason said. “From her strong support of Obamacare to her legacy as the architect of Obama’s disastrous foreign policy, Hillary Clinton will now have to answer for her role in many of the biggest fiascoes of the Obama presidency.
“While serving as Barack Obama’s Secretary of State, Hillary Clinton put her political aspirations above the potential safety of our nation when she decided to use a personal email server to conduct sensitive government business. How many more secrets, diversions and scandals of Hillary Clinton’s will we have to endure in this latest run for the White House?
“Hillary Clinton’s already been rejected by the voters once for President. At such a critical time in the history of our country and our world, we cannot afford to let Hillary Clinton’s carry out Barack Obama’s third term.”
An April 1st Quinnipiac poll found that Quinnipiac also found that 66% of Pennsylvanians support a shift away from the policies of President Obama. (Quinnipiac University, 4/1/2015)
A Quinnipiac poll also found that 52% of Pennsylvania voters say that Clinton’s e-mail problems are important in their vote for president, while 41% of voters say they are less likely to vote for her because of the email scandal. (Quinnipiac University, 3/31/2015)
