PA GOP And RNC Announce New Partnership And Hiring Of State Field Director

HARRISBURG — Republican Party of Pennsylvania Chairman Rob Gleason released the following statement announcing the hiring of Nick Trainer to serve as Pennsylvania State Field Director for the Republican Party. This position was created in partnership with the Republican National Committee to oversee the Republican Party’s field operation during the 2013-2014 cycle.

“We are fortunate to enjoy a strong partnership with the RNC, and I am pleased to continue working with RNC Chairman Reince Priebus to deliver Republican victories throughout Pennsylvania. By working with Political Director Peter Towey, Nick Trainer will be instrumental to our grassroots successes over this next election cycle, and we look forward to working with the RNC to build the largest and most vibrant grassroots operation our Commonwealth has ever seen,” Chairman Gleason said.

Originally from Mount Penn, Berks County, Pennsylvania, Nick has a worked on multiple campaigns including, serving as the Deputy Victory Director for the PAGOP in 2012, Political Director for Congressman Tim Murphy (PA-18), Political Director for Rick Perry for President in New Hampshire, and Regional Field Director for Tim Pawlenty for President in New Hampshire. Nick also worked for Senator Pat Toomey’s campaign in 2010.
