Let’s hope Pat Toomey and Sherrod Brown like each other. The two U.S. senators will be spending a lot of time together.
This week, Mr. Toomey of Pennsylvania was named ranking Republican on the Finance Subcommittee on Social Security, Pensions and Family Policy Subcommittee, which Ohio Democrat Brown chairs.
Mr. Toomey previously was named ranking Republican on the Banking Subcommittee on Financial Institutions and Consumer Protection. Mr. Brown is chairman of that subcommittee, too.
