Murphy Wins Award For Manufacturing

The National Association of Manufacturers have honored U.S. Rep. Tim Murphy, R-Upper St. Clair, for his advocacy for the industry.

NAM said that Murphy backed 97 percent of the organization’s policies “critical to the success of manufacturing in the United States.” The votes included energy policy, taxes and regulations.

Murphy was recognized recently at an event that was sponsored by Bayer Corp. and Lanxess Corp.
