Joel Jukus Announces Run For Lower Paxton Township Supervisor

Harrisburg Patriot-News

Lower Paxton Township resident Joel Jukus has announced he will seek a Republican nomination in the May primary for Lower Paxton Township supervisor.

Jukus is a certified public accountant and is finishing the final year of his first term as township auditor. He is comptroller of the Republican Party of Pennsylvania where he is responsible for managing multimillion dollar budgets. Previously, he performed audits for a variety of organizations as a senior accountant for the Pennsylvania-based accounting firm ParenteBeard.

“Due to the complexity of local issues and the sheer size of the township’s budget, this position demands extensive experience in finance and management,” Jukus said. “Fiscal responsibility and careful management of taxpayer dollars are essential to keep the township running smoothly. As township supervisor, I hope to work with other elected officials to promote policies that allow local businesses to thrive and grow and create new job opportunities for local residents.”

Jukus is a 2007 graduate of Bloomsburg University where he received a bachelor’s degree in business administration/accounting.
