HARRISBURG — Republican Party of Pennsylvania Chairman Rob Gleason released the following statement applauding Governor Corbett’s signing of Keystone Works legislation:
“I commend Governor Corbett and our Republican legislature for supporting Keystone Works, an important initiative to spur job growth within our Commonwealth. Tom Corbett has made it clear that his priority is to grow Pennsylvania’s economy, encourage job creation in the private sector and help unemployed Pennsylvanians find family sustaining jobs. Through Keystone Works, Governor Corbett has also reinforced Pennsylvanians values of rewarding a person’s work ethic and breaking the circle of government dependency, something that so many Democrats here and in Washington, DC have forgotten,” said Republican Party of Pennsylvania Chairman Rob Gleason.
“By championing pro-jobs initiatives like Keystone Works, supporting responsible Marcellus Shale exploration and small businesses by refusing to raise taxes on job creators, over 100,000 jobs have been created in the private sector under Governor Corbett’s leadership over the past two years. Governor Corbett has worked tirelessly to keep his promises to change the culture of spend, tax and borrow in Harrisburg and to successfully put Pennsylvania on a path to economic prosperity,” Chairman Gleason concluded.
