HARRISBURG — Republican Party of Pennsylvania Rob Gleason issued the following statement following Mitt Romney’s great performance at tonight’s third and final Presidential Debate:
“Tonight, Mitt Romney presented an optimistic vision of America’s role in the world and showed that he can assume the mantle of leadership as our Commander-In-Chief. The bottom line is that we can’t afford four more years of President Obama. Under President Obama, Iran is closer to nuclear weapons capability than ever before, our relations with Israel have been downgraded, the “reset” with Russia has failed to generate more cooperation, and our military is threatened with $1 trillion in devastating budget cuts. Under Mitt Romney’s leadership, no friend of America will question our commitment to support them, no enemy that attacks America will question our resolve to defeat them, and no one anywhere — friend or foe — will doubt America’s capability to back up our words.
“We can’t afford four more years like the last four years, and delivering Pennsylvania’s 20 electoral votes for Mitt Romney will make the difference. With only 14 days left in this critical election, we will do everything we can to make sure that voters go to the polls ready to elect Mitt Romney to go to Washington, D.C. and get our nation back on the right track.”
