Republican Committee Plans Fall Dinner

The Herald Standard

Pennsylvania Republican Party Chairman Rob Gleason will attend the Fayette County Republican Committee’s fall dinner at the Uniontown Holiday Inn at 6 p.m. Oct. 4.

“We were very pleased to have 9th Congressional District Rep. Bill Shuster headline our event, but the addition of Pa. GOP Chairman Rob Gleason is icing on the cake,” said Russ Rhodes, committee chairman. “It’s been 10-plus years since a state GOP chairman has attended our fall dinner.”

“The number of registered Republicans in Fayette County has steadily increased over the last four years, which, in my opinion, is a commentary on how poorly the people of Fayette County see the president’s performance both with the economy and foreign policy.

“That increased registration, along with Chairman Gleason’s desire to meet the people of Fayette County, has brought him to Fayette County,” Rhodes said.

Tickets can be purchased from any committee member or at 2012 Victory Headquarters, 237 W. Main St., Uniontown. More information on the dinner is available by calling 724-329-4421 or on the committee’s web site http://gopfayette.org.
