Scott Perry, a York County resident and candidate for the 4th Congressional District, made it clear that if elected, he plans on doing what is best for the nation as a whole aside from party affiliation.
Perry, a Republican who currently serves as a state representative, said that he once voted against a bill that all of his constituents favored.
