Delaware County Times: Paul Ryan To Attend ‘Victory Rally’ In West Goshen Tuesday

Delco Times

Mitt Romney’s new running mate plans to attend a “victory rally” Tuesday afternoon at the American Helicopter Museum.

The rally with U.S. Rep. Paul Ryan of Wisconsin is slated to begin at 3:30 p.m. Doors are scheduled to open at 1:30 p.m., and a free ticket is required to get in. Tickets may be acquired at www.mittromney.com/states/pennsylvania

Ryan is making Tuesday a Pennsylvania-centric day, moving from west to east as he begins the day with an 11 a.m. rally at Beaver Steel Services Inc. in Carnegie, southwest of Pittsburgh.

Anyone going to the event at the museum at 1220 American Blvd. must first go through “airport-like security,” according to the Romney campaign website. Cameras are allowed, but signs, umbrellas and other items are prohibited.

The website touts Romney and Ryan as “America’s comeback team.” Ryan has spent much of his time since Romney tapped him as his running mate touring the country and attacking Democratic incumbent President Barack Obama’s policies and specifically those that affect Medicare.
