Pennsylvania Gov. Tom Corbett will support fellow Republican Mitt Romney is his bid for the White House, Romney’s campaign announced today.
Declaring the primary season over, Corbett said it’s time for Republicans to unite against Barack Obama.
Corbett’s endorsement comes one week after former Pennsylvania Sen. Rick Santorum suspended his campaign. Santorum was Romney’s closest competitor for the GOP nomination.
Pennsylvania’s primary elections are April 24.
