The U.S. Supreme Court takes up the long-anticipated Obamacare case today, and Republican National Committee Chairman Reince Priebus said the scheme has already been ruled guilty by the court of public opinion.
“Two-thirds of Americans, according to recent polling, want the court to end all or part of Obamacare,” Priebus said. “Regardless of the court’s decision, voters have already declared Obamacare guilty — guilty of increasing health-care costs, growing government, cutting Medicare and undermining the Constitution.”
Priebus said even Democrats appear to be having their doubts. With Obama in Asia today, Priebus noted:
“Last week marked the second anniversary of Obamacare, but the president stayed conspicuously silent on his signature ‘achievement.’ Clearly, he and his fellow Democrats are running away from their failed law, rather than running on their records.”
