EDITORIAL: One Person, One Vote

Every American over 18 is allowed one vote — not as many as they can get away with.

So there’s nothing wrong with requiring voters to prove who they are before they cast their ballots.

Proponents of two bills now before the Pennsylvania State Government Committee claim the proposed legislation will do that — one would require voters to show a driver’s license or identification card, and the other would mandate photo voter registration cards.
