Bob Bozzuto Named Deputy Executive Director

HARRISBURG — Republican Party of Pennsylvania Chairman Rob Gleason announced that he has promoted Bob Bozzuto to serve as Deputy Executive Director of the Republican Party of Pennsylvania.

“Bob Bozzuto is a veteran of numerous Pennsylvania campaigns and has been a key architect of our political operations during my chairmanship,” Gleason said. “As Deputy Executive Director, Bob will work directly with Executive Director Mike Barley and oversee our political and communications departments. I am confident that Bob will excel in his expanded role and will continue to be a valued, senior manager of the PA GOP as we face important elections during the 2011-2012 cycle.”

Before being named Deputy Executive Director, Bob had served as the PA GOP Elections Director where he managed the political department and directed the State Party’s political operations for statewide candidates like U.S. Senator Pat Toomey, Governor Tom Corbett and Lt. Governor Jim Cawley. Before joining the PA GOP staff, Bob worked for U.S. Senator Rick Santorum in his Washington D.C. office and served as a member of the Senator’s campaign staff.

Bob is a native of Hempfield Township, Westmoreland County and is a graduate of the University of Pittsburgh. Bob currently resides in Hampden Township, Cumberland County with his wife Alicia.
