HARRISBURG — Republican Party of Pennsylvania Chairman Rob Gleason released the following statement regarding our Republican members of Congress.
“Today is a great day in the history of our Party, as 12 Republican Congressmen are sworn into office,” Gleason said. “These 12 Congressmen from across the Commonwealth are united by a core belief in the common-sense principles of limited government and fiscal responsibility as well as a strong desire to serve their constituents, and I am confident that they will serve their Districts well in the months and years ahead.
“In particular, I would like to extend my congratulations to the freshmen members of our Congressional delegation: 3rd District Representative Mike Kelly, 7th District Representative Pat Meehan, 8th District Representative Mike Fitzpatrick, 10th District Representative Tom Marino and 11th District Representative Lou Barletta.
“On behalf of the Republican Party of Pennsylvania, it is my honor to congratulate the new Republican members of Congress from our great Commonwealth today.”
